Overview

A charming unspoiled village with winding, narrow, medieval streets, founded by the Norman King Roger II during the twelfth century on the site of an earlier settlement. Visit the Norman Cathedral with its glittering Byzantine mosaics, which include the over-powering figure of the Pantokrator. Then on to the Medieval Washhouse and to the old port for a view on Cefalù's defence walls and gates. A visit of the Mandralisca Museum will allow you to see the painting of the Unknown Man, a masterpiece by Antonello da Messina, and a collection of coins, ceramics, vases, mineral and shells.,enjoy time at leisure to shop for handmade lace, coral jewels, ceramics, home-made sweets and preserves down Corso Ruggero or swimming in the crystal clear sea waters.

Cefalu tour full day

Today you are greeted at Palermo and driven to Cefalù, a charming coastal town that offers a great deal, including sandy beaches, winding Mediaeval streets flanked with all manner of shops and a massive Norman Cathedral with outstanding mosaics.

Later back to Palermo and continuing, by seeing Piazza Pretoria and Via Maqueda with its “four corners” who converge Palermo at a quarte of baroque palaces left over from the heyday of Spanish rule, dates from the 1560.

Then time at leisure for shopping before ending

Any payment made in advance will be refunded (with a deduction due to bank charges for money transfer). We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received within the term stated above.
